A classic material that improves the familiar properties of many Murdotec® plastics even further. Murdotec® 2000 MOS offers very good slide properties along with top wear resistance. This material works extremely well in abrasive conditions and is also UV stable at all times as well as having emergency running characteristics.

Murdotec® 2000 is the premium UHMW-PE with a molecular weight of around 9 million g/mol. It is more abrasion-resistant than Murdotec® 1000. It is also resistant to chemicals and has good shock and noise damping, good anti-adhesion properties, excellent slide properties and very good insulation and dielectric properties (with the exception of static dissipation and conductive types). Murdotec® 2000 is ideal for machining and is physiologically safe. It is approved by the FDA and can be supplied in various RAL colours on request.
