Ultra-high molecular polyethylene (UHMW-PE) as per ISO 15527, sheet group 1.1
Murdotec® 2000 HS is the right choice for exposure to high temperatures. With this plastic, the thermal oxidation point has been significantly increased through additives we developed in house. As a result, Murdotec® 2000 HS can be used at a constant temperature of 100°C and a short-term operating temperature of 120°C. The plastic is great for machining and can be used in drying kilns and chain trough conveyors, for example.

Murdotec® 2000 is the premium UHMW-PE with a molecular weight of around 9 million g/mol. It is more abrasion-resistant than Murdotec® 1000. It is also resistant to chemicals and has good shock and noise damping, good anti-adhesion properties, excellent slide properties and very good insulation and dielectric properties (with the exception of static dissipation and conductive types). Murdotec® 2000 is ideal for machining and is physiologically safe. It is approved by the FDA and can be supplied in various RAL colours on request.
The Murdotec® plastics interactive selection wizard allows you to find the sheets you need along with all their specifications in just seconds.
In addition to the tried-and-tested standard dimension of 4080 x 2005 mm, Murdotec® plastics also produces XXL formats measuring 6100 x 2505 mm. All sheet formats are available ex-stock.
